The intimate microbiome plays a central role in comfort, resilience and everyday wellbeing. Our approach is grounded in a simple principle: restore and protect that balance to relieve discomfort, rather than disrupting it with blunt, one size fits all treatments. It's a more considered way to think about intimate care, and it's the foundation of everything we build.
Research & collaboration
Our innovation is the result of strong, multidisciplinary collaboration across leading scientific institutions and expert leaders in microbiome research and women's health. DUO Balance™, our patented candidate medical device, is developed in academic partnership with King's College London and UCL, and UCL Business Ltd, grounding BiotaLife® in genuine translational research.
This brings together a team of scientists, clinicians and commercial leaders, combining deep expertise in microbiology, product development and healthcare innovation, to translate research into real world impact for women.
From research to real life
Our roadmap moves in two steps. BloomCalma, our first cosmetic intimate care product, brings this same scientific thinking to everyday comfort during pregnancy and postpartum. Alongside it, we've developed DUO Balance™, our patented candidate medical device, designed to bring dual-action, antibiotic-free care to vaginal thrush and BV, an accessible, at-home approach built on the same research foundation.
